My Bio
I got interesting in art, writing, and costuming at an early age, but really didn't get serious until I was about sixteen. Since then I have written two unpublished novels, made a handful of cosplays, and suck still at drawing. But, I'm happy and I suppose that is all that matters.
I'm a Christian, and not afraid to say so, but I am not the kind that will shove my beliefs down your throat. Your beliefs are yours and mine are mine. Mutual respect is a good thing.
I'm silly and strange and on the derpy side of things. I'm often called a freak and a geek and a nerd, all titles I take as compliments, because that just means I have good taste....at least that's the way I see things.

Alycia is my name, and Kelowa is a place in a book I wrote, which is just a shorter version of Kelowna, the city I was born in.

Sassy, funny, smart

I happen to be long to the majority of the population that is right handed.

The first photo shoot I did of my Loki cosplay

Tonight's the big night!
I'm so excited, I'm going to the Age of Ultron premier in costume. I'll be going as Loki and if I can get him to, my brother will be going as Thor. I really hope he does.
I'll be going with my mom, brother, and uncle. We'll be seeing it in 3D, which will make everything that much more intense. Tonight promises to be one to remember!
UPDATE:
I went and the movie was super amazing. It as well written, funny, charming, touching, and an all around amazing movie. I loved it so much and will definitely be going back to see it on the big screen before it goes to DVD. If you haven't seen it yet. Go. See. The. Dang. Movie!

No Fan Expo.....

Sadness darkens my Sunday evening as I sit at home, having not been able to go to Fan Expo. My cosplays where awesome, finished, and ready to go, but alas, I was not able to attend. My mother lost her wallet so we were not able to drive over and both my brother and I were scheduled to work through the weekend.
But, my tears were not too fierce as I made glorious plans to attend the Phoenix Comic Con this May.
(This is reading more like a silly narrative than a journal entry)
